Came from grandfathers mothers side from England. Hallmarks indicate both inner and outer silver cases were made in London by Benjamin Norton in 1835. Glass cover is missing. Watch is cylinder Georgian verge fusee, does not run. Chain present, no key. Face is white enamel, hands missing. Internal watch case engraved with personalization "M A Kellet 1850" There are several small papers tucked inside. One reads CHRONOMETERS, HORIZONTAL PATENT EVER REPEATING WATCHES, MADE TO ORDER in Hartlepool. Other writing illegible. Looks like a shop label that is associated with this watch. Other papers have the words and numbers '1850-1929 age 79 yrs' 'Mrs Parkinson Hartlepool 50-5 198' and 49-3788 and Steven Cooper. With some illegible words as well. Can not find out what the numbers indicate. Can not find information on 'Raffers'
