Description

The sword manufacturer is W. Clauberg Soligen. The blade is etched with an eagle (E PLURIBUS UNUM) on one side and U.S. on the other. The ornate hilt has a hinge around the thumb area of the cage. The scabbard is leather with brass accents and rings. I could not find any serial number stamp and have no provenance information.

Dimensions

The lightly curved blade is ~32 inches long, the overall length of the sword in the scabbard is ~39 inches.
