This is a roughly 1 sqft piece from the left front corner of Deni Hulme's that I recovered from the accident in turn 1 of the first lap of the 1971 Can Am race at Mid Ohio. The piece has a 'Seal of Ohio' sticker on it which was only put on for this race and I also have slides I took showing the accident and Deni walking away from his car carrying the broken half-shaft which caused the accident. I've attached pictures of the piece itself as well as one that shows the position of the 'Seal of Ohio' location on the car. I've also included one of the several slides I took at the race...I only wish I'd had a better camera. I'm not interested in selling the piece at this time but would like to know what value it has for estate planning.
