Hi Jay,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please confirm how many of these you have?
Thanks
Delia
Photos of at least one from each group would be helpful. Are they all cylindrical in shape or are some like goblets? Do they all have the same decoration? Are any of them marked on the bottom?
Here is a shot my wife took when she was fishing for some onfo on Facebook. there is a total of 17 pieces. the glasses, though the vary in size have that cylindrical shape. as you can see they all have the gold and the flower pattern and sadly, no there are no stickers labels anywhere or impressions on the base
Thanks, Jay, that's helpful.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An 18-piece Bohemian enameled and parcel gilt decanter set
European, probably early 20th Century
In red, green, blue and amber, with floral decoration and gilt banding.
Comprising:
(1) cylindrical decanter with stopper
(5) 6-inch red wine goblets
(6) 5-inch white wine goblets
(6) 4-inch cordials
PROVENANCE: acquired from a couple who had acquired them in Italy
$300-500 for the set*
