I am hoping to get a value of a stained glass window that I was told was custom built for my house in 1957 when it was built. The window is 67 1/4 by 64. I can provide some photos.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Pittsburgh had a very vibrant stained glass artisan craft community with several notable makers, with George W. Sotter and the Rudy Brothers being two of the most well-known names.
Both were well known for making stained glass for churches and mausoleums/memorial sites and both used both floral forms as well as figures for their designs.
While I'm not able to link either the large landscape window (67-1/4 by 64 inches) or the smaller panel, which you don't provide dimensions for but which I'm *guessing* is probably around 20 inches high and 50 inches wide(?), other stained glass panels of comparable size that are also unattributed or unsigned bring $1,000-1,500 for the larger panel and $200-300 for the smaller one.
The built-in pieces - one of clear glass, the other of colored glass - have even less value - about $100 - and are worth more if they remain intact to the pieces they're built in to.
Because they are so nominal in value, I've left them off the appraisal.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Two mid 20th Century stained glass panels
made in the Pittsburgh, PA., area, circa 1950s
One of a landscape with lake and mountains, framed by wisteria, in an oak frame; the other a stylized floral window with variegated amber glass border and brown-painted window casing.
The larger window is 67-1/4 by 64 inches
CONDITION: Both windows appear to be in good condition; value assumes no breaks, repairs or losses.
PROVENANCE: Acquired with a home purchase
$ 1,200-1,800 for the two*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.

Hi Brian,
You should be able to attach more photos directly to this appraisal but if you can't see where to do that, or it won't let you, please send additional photos to [email protected] and reference this appraisal: https://app.mearto.com/specialist/items/67-1-4-by-64-stained-glass-window-value
I'll start looking into who was doing stained glass in the area in the 50s and 60s.
More soon,
Delia
Hello,
There are a few more pieces in the house. There is a smaller piece in the bathroom window and two more in the kitchen cupboard doors. Unfortunately, one of the cupboard windows was broken out. Do you want me to provide photos of the other pieces? If so, where can I upload them to you?
Unfortunately, I do not know who designed it. The house is located in Aliquippa, PA so my best assumption on where it was built was in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Let me know if you need anymore photos and where I can upload them.
