8’ x 10’ Oriental rug
I purchased this oriental rug about 20 years ago on a trip to Beijing China. I purchased it from a gallery/dealer they told me it was museum quality. He said it took two or three Chinese woman several years to make the rug and the material is silk. He said that the colors were the emperors colors and that the rug told a story with the chariots I can’t remember the story now. I have not use the rug it has been rolled up in my house. It’s in new condition.
I purchased it new and it has not been used since purchase about 20 years ago on a trip to China. Please see previous description.

made in China, circa 2000
in earth tones, centering an octagonal medallion depicting two horses within a scrollwork frame, on a taupe or beige ground with chariots, scrollwork spandrels and a pictorial border featuring horses, chariots and riders.
8 by 10 feet
CONDITION: represented to be in never-used, like new condition
PROVENANCE: purchased new, in China around 2000
