I purchased this item at an estate sale from a well-to-do local entrepreneur. I was told that it was an original Native-American painting on animal skin. It is placed on burlap inside a sealed frame. The dimensions of the painting itself are 10 1/2" wide and 14 1/4" high (the painting on the animal skin). The wood frame has a 1" depth, and is 20 1/2" wide and 24 1/2" high. I live in Fairview, PA and we have history of Native Americans living in Erie, Lake City, Girard, Fairview, etc. However, I am not sure where this painting originated from. I purchased it from the person who had it framed and he lives in Erie, PA. I perhaps would consider selling it.
The actual painting on animal skin is 10 1/2" x 14 1/4"
