Paintings found in house that was owned by the navy Captain who led the American fleet when the Communists were initially trying to take over in China. I also have personal letters from the leader of China to this captain, as well as letters from the leader of Japan during that time. I obtain the house as part of a probate real estate purchase, so don't have any other special information on these paintings. We have quite a few other pieces, but I'm currently only submitting the two that seem the most interesting to me.
