Pair of decorative vases with different English country village scene painted on one side of each and bearing iinitials "MD". On the other side of each is a painted arrangement of roses (one arrangement different to the other). Each vase is 28cms high, 18cms wide and 7cms deep. In good condition and 150 years or more old. "EMPIRE / 125" on base of each.

Purchased at auction in Sydney, Australia by my father around 1950 and passed to me upon my mother's death.
