Dear Graham,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay. I accidentally send out an empty estimation.
The presented object appears to be a porcelain pattern made by the French manufacturer "A. Lantarnier & Co" in the city of Limoges. This piece was probably made around 1890. It has the measurements of 305 mm long x 205 mm wide at its widest points.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
Hi Georg, thanks again for the "real" appraisal. Do you have any idea of the name or number of the pattern?. I have searched the internet and found similar but none with blue bows on in the same pattern.
thanks again.
Graham.
Dear Graham,
Sadly I can not help you with this question. I checked the auction databases and the pattern was not named or numbered in the description of the auction houses.
With kind regards,
Georg
Many thanks.
Dear Graham,
You are very welcome.
With kind regards,
Georg
Thanks for your appraisal "Unknown ".
Do you think this could be a fake or by any chance just a rare one off pattern produced at the A. Lanternier factory for a special occasion?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Regards.
Graham.
