The top could be any age but that wonderful scrolled iron base has an Art Deco/Hollywood Regency look to it...
I would not have thought a piece this size (and probable heavy weight?) would have been a shelf but the unfinished/flat edge of the marble top certainly confirms that it was meant to be up against a wall. Thinking this could have been a wall-mounted console table rather than a shelf? Happy to amend the description if you think that's better as a "shelf"...

A near antique Hollywood Regency or Art Deco style marble top iron wall-mounted table
American or European, possibly first half 20th Century
The triangular variegated marble top with molded side edges and flat rear edge raised on a shaped scrolled wrought iron base. Unsigned.
32 inches tall, 32 inches wide, 16 inches deep
CONDITION: This table appears to be in good condition with minor wear (rustication / oxidation to iron base.
