I have an aborigonal wooden carving. It's roughly 80cm high and 140cm wide.
My great grandmother brought it in australia many years ago. Now she has passed it down to me.
Dear Lauren,
Thank you for your request and your patience. The apprised object is a wooden carving with the measurements of roughly 80 cm high and 140 cm lenght. The carving is made out of a board with the bark on it. The artist used the colors of the different layers to depict a wide Australian landscape. The artwork has a plaquette on it with the name of the artist F. D. Webb. Sadly no artist with such a name is mentioned in auction record lists or similar databases. This piece was made in the late 20th century as a souvenir.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 20 to 50 GBP.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
