Description

White marvel sculpture done earlier in the 1920s rumored to be labeled” the Madonna”. Sculpted by Dominic D’Imperio who studied at Pennsylvania Academy of fine arts, where he was awarded traveling scholarship, and Stevens prize for full size figure( this sculpture). Sculpture was exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Washington, DC,, the art Institute of Chicago in Illinois, and the Pennsylvania Academy of fine arts in Philadelphia Museum.
