What does this mean?

Dear Trish,

Greetings and thank you for calling upon the experts at Mearto to evaluate your delightful and striking pair of vintage lamps. These were made circa 1960s, the bodies are hand-painted and made of chalk-ware which is similar to plaster of Paris.

In Feb. 2018 an identical pair to yours was offered at auction, they failed to sell with an opening bid of $100, in 2017 a single example of your lamps sold for $70USD.... so if these were offered at auction, I would expect the pair to sell for between $70 and $90USD.

Thank you for your submission, let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Sincerely,

Erin-Marie
