Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a decorative mask made in the late 20th century. This mask follows narrowly the tradition of the art of tribes of Africa without referring to a local artistic tradition. It was made out of wood and is decorated with white metal plaques. Such pieces were made as a touristic souvenir.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
