Approx 24"x36" exhibition poster from Ai Weiwei's last show in China before his trouble with the authorities began there. Signed by artist.
I bought it myself in 2009 at the exhibition in Beijing. I have never seen another Ai Weiwei poster from China for sale, let alone signed.

This is a 2009 exhibition poster for a retrospective show in Beijing, China at Three Shadows Photography Art Centre which was founded in 2007. The building itself which houses Three Shadows Photography Art Centre was designed by Ai Weiwei. The poster for this exhibition in particular featured photography by Ai Weiwei from when he was a resident of NYC from 1983 - 1993. It is an open edition poster in black and white and features a self-photograph of the artist in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in New York City in 1983 and has been signed/autographed by the hand of the artist. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
