What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The item appraised is a print or engraving of an Alfred Fitch Bellows (American 1829-1883) work entitled "Safely Landed", which was a watercolor painted in 1873. It is highly unlikely that this engraving came directly from the artist and was likely printed after his death. Prints for this artist do not realize great amounts at auction. I would suggest holding on to the print, as its sentimental value is likely worth more than on the auction market.

Thank you,
Corey
