The presented object appears to be a fragment of a redware encrusted Roman period amphora coming as a sea finds. The measurements are 6 inches in height and 7 inches wide.
This piece is in bad condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. This piece was the bottom of an amphora.
A fair market estimation would be between 20 to 40 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
