Considering the photographs, overall pattern, materials used and the gemstones, I concluded that this is an Antique Lizard Shaped Brooch with Gemstones. The piece is shaped as a lizard and the lizard's back, eyes and feet were decorated with precious or semi-precious gems. The head was decorated with a single larger pearl. The back's mid line was decorated with green gem stones which could probably identified visually as peridots. The both sides of this peridot stripe is surrounded by pearls while the eyes can be visually identified as garnets. The metal body of the piece is identified as gold by the current owner but there is no visible writing. The gemstones appear to be authentic from a visual point of view but they are still in need of gemological testing. The feet of the lizard are decorated perfectly with high precision. They are shaped almost as a sea shell. Very decorative and high quality piece. If the piece's gemstones are authenticated it would worth significantly more. The piece is in good condition without any visible problems.
