Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A pair of antique Empire style mahogany side chairs
Probably made in the US, mid 20th Century
Each with flat-top curved back over an inset-upholstered back and trapezoidal over-the-rail upholstered seats with curved front rails, raised on squared legs with brass cuff feet. Marked underneath "TN14444564"; both upholstered in a taupe-colored chenille fabric.

CONDITION: Both chairs appear to be in generally good condition; value assumes no stains, tears, odors, repairs or losses.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
