This came from my mother in laws house and we just got it after she passed. Don’t know any background other than it’s been in her family. No markings on the chest, it’s in great condition. She was from Franklin, PA.

A vintage Georgian Revival style ormolu mounted mahogany dresser
American, possibly Midwest, early 20th Century
Of rectangular section in two parts the book-matched veneered top with shaped molded backsplash with cast metal mount, the case fitted with two paneled cupboard doors opening to three sliding "folio" or dresser shelves, outset over two pairs of stacked short drawers flanking a central short drawer with applied swag mount, over two recessed long drawers flanked by fluted engaged columns, over bracket feet on casters.
