Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Renaissance Revival style mahogany or walnut table-top Canterbury bookshelf
late 19th/early 20th Century
Of rectangular section with ogee ends and relief-carved molded edge, affixed at each end with hinged folding supports with stipple- and acanthus-relief carved ends and open handles, which fold flat but when raised can support books. The underside with some graphite or crayon marks, otherwise appears to be unsigned.

CONDITION: Appears to be in good condition with a high gloss finish.
