Needs some cleaning but in very good condition. Bought in Paris antique store a very long time ago by family. Believe it’s made out bronze.

Hi Remi,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Clocks with dials signed "Furet à Paris" or "André Furet à Paris" refers to one of the Furet family of Parisian master clockmakers, an important dynasty of horologists active during the 18th century. These signatures are found on high-quality French clocks from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods and are well respected by collectors.
Your clock has a green "vernis Martin" lacquer with hand-painted floral sprays, Rococo style gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts and feet, a seated Chinoiserie figure on the top, and both Roman hour numerals with Arabic five-minute markers.
The stamp on the works "5768 Planchon Paris" indicate this was made or retailed by Mathieu Planchon (1842–1921), a respected Parisian clockmaker and retailer who specialized in producing fine clocks in historical Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. He was active from the second half of the 19th century into the 20th century and taking everything into consideration, this clock probably dates to between 1880 and 1900.
If this clock were offered at auction, I would expect it to bring between $3,000 and $5,000
