Description

This is about 12" tall, the paint shows some wear. It has been in my family for about 40 years. I don't know really anything about it.

This was a wedding gift my parents received 40 years ago.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a modern chinese reproduction of an earthenware han dynasty statue of a court lady. The colouring is definitely modern, the attached dirt alludes that it was dug up and therefore pretends to be a piece from antiquity - which it is not. Unfortunately this item has a purely decorative value and of course a high sentimental value to you.
