Japanese Hand-carved wood and Ivory Cabinet
15 July 2025
Description

This piece was bought at an auction house in New York City about 15 years ago by a relative. There are no markings to indicate an artist, however, upon researching it appears to be a 19th century Japanese Meiji Shibayama. The cabinet was bought for around $15,000. There are a few pieces of ivory that have fallen out, but are kept with the cabinet.
