This is an antique, likely 19th century, large sized, 90cm x 140cm gilded molded plaster over wirework and wood reticulated or pierced-cut crest-top Neoclassical style with gadrooned sides and wood slat backed frame for a mirror. The glass for the mirror, which does appear broken now, was not the original beveled mirror looking glass. There is some chipping and loss to the gilded framing which is typical for these when bumped or jarred, given their relative fragility, especially over time. The estimate is factors in the current condition and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Unfortunately we do not have any photographs of the reverse of the item, however, it is not bevelled glass and the glass is not original.
Please also add an image of the entire backside of this and is the mirror beveled?
