Antique Gold leaf Screen
This antique gold leaf screen is 64.5” height, 58.5” wide, 1.5” wide. It has 3 panels with 12 very unique European pictures that are set in a hand made slot.
I bought it in Wichita Falls Texas about 35 years ago from a high end frame shop. The owner would hand make gorgeous picture frames and did some very unique restoration furniture and antique pieces. My screen was an original piece that he gold leafed, hand cut the places for the pictures that I believe were from Europe. Each picture is very unique. The price was $1200 but I bought it end of year for $600.

Thank you for your request. The presented object is a leaf screen with the measurements of 64.5 x 58.5. The screen is separated into 3 panels which are decorated with 4 offset prints each. The prints show famous European paintings and the screen itself is painted gold. The prints and the screen are made in the second half of the 20th century.
An estimate would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
