Antique Tiger Oak Hutch. Was told by seller that it is from the late 1800’s. Two pieces
Bought it from a private seller In Northern California.Cannot find any markings that give me any info about the date and maker.
This is an antique kitchen display hutch and serving station that is a pre-cursor to the kitchen Hoover cabinets that were popular in the early 20th century. Your oak hutch was handcrafted and has fine, this dovetailing. It dates to just about 1895 - 1905 and it is done in the Arts & Crafts manner which touted a return to hand crafting furniture over machine, mass production that arose during the Industrial Revolution. The center window front on the display top are done in with a leaded glass and the drawer pulls have an urn center design, though were not handwrought. The estimate is based on actual past recorded auction sales of comparables.
