Hi Kendra,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The cupboard would have most likely held a chamber pot; if this had properly been a washstand, the top would have been marble and there would have been a backsplash.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Mission style oak pot commode
American or English, first half 20th Century
Of rectangular section with corresponding squared-edged top over a case fitted with a single long drawer over two short drawers next to a recessed cupboard (lacking door), all on a box-style base.
27 1/4 inches tall, 34 inches wide, 17 inches deep
CONDITION: Missing front door on right side. Top in poor condition, with separations. Drawers appear to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: Acquired at a local habitat for humanity in Stokes County, ,NC.

I’ve added pictures of where the door would have been.
Thanks so much, Kendra, the additional photos are quite helpful. You're all set with this.
Thank you so much Delia. I really Appreciate all of your help on the appraisal of my items! You’re amazing!
Hey Delia. Yes, there is evidence of where the door came together. Looks like some type of metal there. I’ll send more pics later tonight!
