Knife is in good condition. The handle is very ornate with onyx and other inlayed gemstones. The blade has an ornate design with a tiny red stone of some sort in the middle. The knife belonged to ny husband's great grandfather. He lived in Germany in the early 1900's and fought in the Middle East alongside the Ottoman (Turkish).
