It is a beautiful mirror with wooden frame, from the photo it looks as if the frame is made of oak.
The gilted ornament is made of carved wood and is inspired by the Louis XVI style from the 18th century. However your mirror is slightly newer and dates from the late 19th century where this particular style and shape was very popular.
