It’s a big Oriental Vase with what appears to be Chinese characteristics in nature. It’s 18 inches long and 29 inches in circumference. It has no chips or cracks. The bottom has no marks or logo. It appears to have a signature of some sort on it.
I inherited this vase from my grandmother. I’m not sure of it’s origin. It seems to be very old, but I’m really good shape.
This is a vintage porcelain 18" tall umbrella stand. It is done in the Famille Vert palette which is primarily green. The enamel paint was applied over a transferprinted design. Though Chinese in style, this was likely produced in Hong Kong in the mid 20th century. Technically, it is vintage and not 'antique' yet. 'Antique' by definition is any object 100 years old and older. The area that looks signed is merely lines for grass that look similar to western alphabet characters, though it is not. The term for that is pareidolia. The estimate is based on actual past auction sales of comparables.
