It’s made of wool, it’s hand woven, it’s made in Iran, in very fair condition. It was inherited from my fiancées grandfather and I am not sure who made it

I have handled a lot of Oriental rugs and would characterize the condition of this carpet as "fair" rather than "good," with fading and wear from nearly 100 years of use.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Iranian hand-loomed wool Sarouk carpet
after 1935
Of typical Sarouk design, with a central medallion in red, blues and creams on a red ground with blue and white spandrels, within red borders.
9 feet 6 inches by 12 feet 8 inches
CONDITION: In "fair" condition with wear from age and use; losses to selvedges. Value assumes no odors, stains, repairs, tears or losses.
