I'm 60 years old. My mother found this 60 years ago in our basement when we moved in. It's been through different changes. She refinished it herself s few times. The back and seat have been caned I believe two times. The seat wore out over time. I sold furniture. I understand quality workmanship. She was offered a nice piece of money years ago but said no. I, my sister, my daughter, my grandsons, and my sister's sons have all been rocked in it.
