Antique green rug
This was given to us
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an antique Tabriz rug from northwest Persia, around 1890-1910. It is quite difficult to assess the condition from these photos. I assume the fabric is rather fragile and I assume the carpet needs professional cleaning. But after some effort and restoration it could be a real and valuable treasure. The estimate is based on similar rugs offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade are usually much higher.
I can see you tried to upload the extra photos. Unfortunately I can´t enlarge those. Please try again. Thank you
Hi, I added some more pictures.
Please let me know if those are ok

Hello, this was a gift to my husband from a previous employer that was very thankful to him.
He was a CEO and chairman of a Canadian banking giant.
They are multi millionaires.
I can't give much information for this person but the carpet was in a very prestigious home in Palm Beach Florida. The home is worth about 3 million dollars.
They bought a bigger home that is now worth over 10 million and the rug did not match the coloring the interior designer used.
The rug was in the living room with no direct sunlight.
It has been restored and was well kept and also has the padding that goes underneath to protect it.
They also gave him another 2 antique rugs, this is the biggest one of the 3.
I will try and add a couple more pictures too.
