Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a british Tropical helmet in pristine condition together with a transport box. The cork & rubber helmet was once transported by the blue funnel line for a surgeon lieutenant. The hats are quite common but often in a much worse condition, the transport box is quite rare. The estimate is based on similar sold or offered at auction.
