Antique Solid Wood Carved Dining Table with Heraldic Carved Designs in the Legs
Table is made of a solid wood, and is extremely heavy. The table measures 67 inches in length, 43 inches across, and 31 inches in height. The table appears to maybe have had a finish on it at one time. Table had been stored for decades in the loft of a barn, and was covered in dirt and dust. I am curious as to what type of table this actually is, and what the carved designs represent. I know very little about the table, nor it's origin or age. Was hoping someone could provide a possible value in the unfinished condition as shown, and possibly an estimate on age and where it might have originated.
Was inside the loft of a barn, covered up for decades. New owner of the property acquired it and the contents of the barn, as the previous owners family would have placed it there. So know very little about it. It was in Nashville Tennessee when found.
