This is a fairly standard issue Victorian extending dining table; it would have been quite appropriate for Teddy Roosevelt had a similar table, as did many people at the higher levels of society. Unfortunately, the market is not what it used to be for this kind of thing and increasingly fewer people dine formally or have dedicated dining rooms anymore.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Victorian turned walnut extending dining table
late 19th Century
The square table with rounded edge and corners over a molded frame raised on four turned legs joined by a shaped H-stretcher; with two additional leaves.
(height), 45 inches wide by 45 inches long, extends to 66 inches with both leaves
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: inherited
