Armenian Dagger
About a foot and a half, an inch wide, wood handle with what the seller claims is bone as a decoration. It's certainly old with rust on the blade and the leather sheath is very hard. The sheath fits the blade really well and has an orthodox cross and the date 1915. Seller claims it was made in Western Armenia, was brought over to Syria during the Armenian genocide and has now been brought to eastern Armrnia as apart of his collection he now is selling.
Open air market in Yerevan Armenia, seller claims it has been in his collection since his family escaped the 1915 Armenian genocide, so it went to Syria and then back to Armenia

The apprised object appears to be a Kinjal which is the specific name for daggers with a double-edged straight blade which is very common in the area of the Caucasus. This dagger is a quite simple and undecorated piece. On the scabart, we see an engraving of a cross which localizes this dagger to a Christian area
This piece is in bad condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
