A blown glass piece with some information on the bottom which is difficult to read. Looks like the artist's name, maybe starting with a G. Also 1986 and sculptor. It stands 10 1/8 inches tall and weighs 3 lbs, 13 oz.
Unknown. It was purchased at an estate sale.

Sarah, your photos are excellent but - and I've tried numerous combinations and iterations of that signature - I can't come up with anything even remotely conclusive; it happens sometimes and I'm sorry we weren't able to immediately identify the maker of this piece.
I've valued this based on the market for other American studio art glass pieces of comparable size.
