Hi Christina,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
G. Schneider & Sohn was a historic Bavarian brewery best known for its wheat beers—especially Schneider Weisse and Aventinus. It was founded in 1872 in Munich, Germany by Georg Schneider I and is the oldest privately-owned wheat beer brewery in Bavaria.
When wheat beer brewing rights were released from royal monopoly, Georg Schneider secured them and began brewing in the former royal wheat beer brewery. It is famous for its Schneider Weisse Original (TAP7) – a classic hefeweizen, and Aventinus (TAP6) – a strong, dark wheat doppelbock, one of the first of its kind.
The brewery was moved to Kelheim in 1944 after the original facility in Munich was bombed in WWII, but the Munich tavern Weisses Bräuhaus remains a flagship restaurant.
These advertising mirrors are popular among Breweriana (beer-making) collectibles and they don't come up for auction very often; some recent auction sales of this model have sold for between $400 and $600.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
