Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Robert Held's glass pieces have not yet really come to the secondary (auction) market and his gallery (retail/primary market) lists pieces selling in the few hundreds of dollars...a secondary / auction value would be 1/2-1/3 as much.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage studio art glass vase
In the manner of Robert Held, 20th/21st Century
Of circular section and tapered conical form with flat base, the upper register in a mottled pink grading into a multi-colored base with a cobalt ground.
12 inches high, 9 1/2 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: inherited
$150-250*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
Maybe Robert Held?
