Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An Edwardian style leather traveling case
made or retailed by Arthur Gilmore, Inc., New York City, early 20th Century
The rectangular leather covered case, the hinged lid monogrammed "HGF", with removeable insert over well and brass latch marked "Arthur Gilmore Inc / New York City" and "ENGLAND" under the latch; all on brass button feet.
9 5/8-inches high by 14 5/8 inches long by 9 5/8 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate with age and use.
PROVENANCE: inherited
