What does this mean?

Hello Steve,

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, style and the colours, I concluded that this is a set of Vintage Chinese Classical Style Paintings dating back to the period from 1960-1980. The pieces are hand painted and hand decorated. There are three different pieces, the first piece appears to be depicting a court scene with Chinese nobles on a traditional terrace. The second piece appears to be depicting also a court scene depiting two noblewoman watching from a pavllion another noblewoman picking flowers from the garden. The third and the last painting depicts a greeting scene in court, two woman greeting another noblewoman of probably higher rank. Pieces are painted on thick paper and attached to a red background. Appear to be without any frame. Pieces are in good condition with minimal signes of use.

Entirely hand painted.

Dimensions: 10 Inches by 12.5 Inches

Condition: Pieces are in good condition with minimal signes of use.

Provenance: Unknown.

Decorated in classical Chinese style in a contemporary quality.

100-150$.

Please don’t hesitate to reach us again for more online appraisals on your precious items, thank you for choosing Mearto.

This appraisal is Ridiculous. They are not paintings. The red background is a piece of cardboard I put them on .
It took about 18 days to receive this.
I want a refund or credit for this appraisal

Dear Steve,
I've rechecked your appraisal. Based on the provided images and their quality the appraisal appears to be accurate. When a piece is hand coloured like this one, as you suggested in your description, it is quite normal to categorize the pieces as paintings. I did not understand your point about the red background, I didn't suggest anything different than there is a red background. I hope I was able to communicate my point. I'm also sorry for the delay but I've assigned this piece at the last two days of the 18 days and provided you an appraisal. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
