What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a japanese Satsuma Vase decorated with a japanese deity, painted over moriage with enamel colours and additional gilding. The vase is of typical ovoid shape, with pseudo loop handles attached on two sides. The number 18 at the base might refer to a larger series produced for display or simply the workshop number. Such vases wered produced in large numbers for export to western countries. This vase possibly around 1880-1890. The estimate is based on similar vases offered or sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
