This appears to be an aluminium repoussé panel relief by Asiru OLATUNDE (1918-1993), who was a blacksmith by trade but turned to producing jewelry and from 1961 onwards reliefs like the one in your possession. He sold his art on the Oshogbo market and worldwide. Most of his reliefs are smaller, only very few of this size have been offered in recent years. Smaller reliefs sell in the 800-1500 range. This rather large piece might have surpassed the recent highest auction result if it had been offered at the right auction, but last years attempt to sell in a smaller auction house has an impact on the current market value for this particular piece unfortunately.
