I hope that this is the right category for my item. What I have is a 3-piece art glass 'smoking set'. I am fairly confident that it is authentic Murano from circa late 1950's-to late 1960's.
Description

This set of 3 pieces is made of heavy transparent blown glass with 'Aventurine" (22-K?) gold leaf (?) infusions and 'Bullicante' controlled air bubbles encased in the glass. (1) ashtray / bowl with sensual amorphous form, pinched and folded-over sides and an indentation at one end for resting a cigarette or cigar. (2) pestle-shaped tobacco snuffer with a disk-shaped base designed; abundantly infused with gold flakes but without air bubbles due to small size. (3) globe-shaped table lighter fitted with original (removable) brass-toned metal lighter mechanism American-made by Evans (not currently in working order). All pieces are in excellent condition for age. I have only found a minuscule chip at edge of the underside base of ashtray which can be felt but doesn't show in photos. I inherited numerous lovely Murano pieces which I've successfully sold on Chairish website over the last 2-3 years. But I have just been notified by Chairish that they won't permit me to list this as "Murano" saying that their policy changed recently due to too many imitation Murano works in the marketplace. I would only be able to list this as "Murano style". What I need to list as Murano is 'documentation', 'attribution' and/or an appraisal confirming that it is actually Murano (not 'in style of'). Or provide a photo of a signature on my piece by a Murano artist or factory. But I know that many authentic Murano pieces, especially vintage ones from decades ago, were NOT 'marked' or signed. I sincerely believe that this set is authentic Murano, probably late 1950's to late 1960's. I am hopeful that you will be able to evaluate this smoking set and provide me with your determination whether I am correct or not. My main interest is in verifying to the extent possible that this is indeed Murano not Murano 'style'. However I would also be willing to consider your firm marketing it as well, depending on the pricing. Chairish is NOT exclusive.
