Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I'm not able to open the photos attached to this inquiry - are you able to reattach them?
If you can't reattach them, please let me know and I'll ask if our IT department can convert them into jpgs.
Thanks!
Delia
Let me forward the links to all of your inquiries to our IT department to see if they can fix this. Stay tuned...
I am having some issues with your site. It's not allowing me to delete pics and it's not allowing me to make changes. Also, when sending the pics from my phone to my mac, for some reason they didn't save as jpegs so I will resend them from my phone if it lets me
I noticed that for the painting "Solider Lighting a Cigarette", the images are attached correctly. I've asked our IT dept to fix the others (I do American art, the others are European and best for another specialist)
I just changed that but I also now inadvertently save the wrong pic on the soldier listing and also the images are not turned in the correct orientation
Also I didn't mean to make the soldier private either
We can rotate the photos, so that's not a problem.
I'll ask them to change the designation on the Soldier public as well.
The photo that is incorrectly attached to the Soldier inquiry should go on the "Flowers on the Table" correct?
Yes. Thank you!
Should I try to delete all the pics and resend them in right format and orientation? Right now it just keeps bumping me out of the site and not letting me delete pics or change/add.
Since I've already put the request in, I'd suggest leaving things as they are; our IT department will get to it soon (usually within 12 hours)
Ok, great. Thank you!
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer, I'm also not finding any artist with the last name of Hester and the first initial G or J in the databases but this was certainly done in the 19th century, in Europe.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Continental School, 19th Century
Barnyard Scene
Oil on board
12 by16 inches
signed by "G Hester" lower right
CONDITION: wooden panel with a small split
PROVENANCE: inherited
$400-600*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
they are jpegs so not sure why that's happening but now I see that all my listings look that way.
Should I resend all of them?
