Batak calendar and almanac, crafted from a water buffalo scapula (shoulder blade). Origin: Northern Sumatra, Indonesia, created by the Batak people. Use: Traditionally used by datu (priests) to determine auspicious days for important events and activities. Features: Features detailed carvings of human heads, lizards, serpents, and mythical animals. Age: Late 1800s Condition: Very good
