Thank you for your request. The presented object is a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 45 x 33 inches. It depicts ducks landing in a pond and is signed with the name Bernard. This painting was made in the last third of the 20th century.

Dear Ian,
There are some prints and paintings of Bernard Martin (1912-1998) with duck motifs on the market. I doubt that he made this painting because of the quality of the painting and the style. There is a possibility that these paintings were made in Asia after European idols with a nome du plume "Bernard".
